Joe Holland's Tenth Anniversary Talk

On the occasion of the Tenth Anniversary of the Jesuit Forum for Social Faith and Justice, Joe Holland gave a speech in honour of Bill Ryan. He focused on the church, both historical and modern, and explained some areas in which he saw a need for renewed focus and activity in the Catholic church today.

As he explains, Bill Ryan was a proponent of "reading the signs of the times" and "following the energy." Joe connects these approaches with Catholic Social Teaching, ecology, and the laity, seeking to honour Bill's commitment to faith, justice, and change.
